Have you ever had a day so chaotic that you lose time? Over the weekend, I had a huge amount of oils to get out and it took days. Labor Day was a holiday for everyone else, but I was working. As a woman, wife and mom I have a lot on my plate already. If you add career, pets and household duties on top of that, the plate is overrunning. Can you relate?

Unless your life is going to get less busy, you have to take time to prioritize yourself, even if it is just a moment. It is way too easy to become consumed by our responsibilities, forgetting the importance of self-nurturing. This Self-Care Awareness Month, let's figure how we can take a "no matter what" stance and incorporate it into our daily lives.

While spas and bubble baths are wonderful, self-care isn’t limited to just physical pampering. It includes the emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being of your whole self. Self-care is about recognizing your needs and giving yourself permission to prioritize them.
